What happens when you stop interviewing people and just listen? In this episode of A Voice for the Unhoused, I meet an older woman in Tampa, Florida. Carrying a walker and the few belongings she has left. She shares what it feels like to survive day to day, especially when the rain comes. We talk about the small kindness of local merchants letting people shelter outside their stores. And, more importantly, the dignity and resilience of someone too often overlooked.
